GOVERNMENT ALLOCATES K700,000 TO BOOST SMALL BUSINESSES IN KANCHIBIYA.

GOVERNMENT has boosted small businesses in Muchinga Province with a 700,000 kwacha allocation targeting over 120 beneficiaries in Kanchibiya District.

The support, implemented through the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC), is aimed at improving livelihoods and stimulating grassroots economic growth.

Small and Medium Enterprises Development Minister, Mufunelo Malama, said the initiative will prioritize youths, market cooperatives, and shop owners, beginning with Chalabesa as the initial phase.

He added that the programme will also extend to Kabulamwiko, Chambeshi, and Mpepo areas within the district.
